Desktop Challenge at DSS
Have some fun and play the desk top challenge hosted by Dana from DigiScrapStation. Dana supplies the template, even shows you what your screen resolution is so you can fit it to your own desktop, all you have to do is make it your own as I have done above. I used my new kit Letters and Notes to come up with this as adorning my desktop right now.
I really enjoy doing these challenges as it changes my desktop each month, It is great to go with the theme in your life of the moment. I have just had 4 new chickens, after a couple of years of having no chickens (as the fox had them the first time, then I hatched 4 cockerels no hens) I got myself 4 Bluebelles, these are egg laying hybrids they are very pretty and friendly. At last after all this time of shop bought eggs it is so great to go and get a fresh egg from each of them each day. they are fun to watch and good company, they follow you round like little puppies. Anyhow the photo in the desktop theme is one of them 'Proud Cis' or Cissy I call her. She stands tall and regal and queens it over the other 3.
I digress, anyway get over to DSS for some amazing challenges, get to know us, join in, if you design come and join us as a designer...have fun anyway.

The set comprises main basket picture and a sheet of decoupage A4 size at 300dpi, of which you may add as little or as much depth as you would like I have left the top of the basket free from decoration so that you may place your own finishing touch such as a ribbon or tag or other.

On this challenge journaling is important use your photo to show us, but your words to tell us. Use any kit you would want, make sure part of it is from DSS, but let us see you as you were. Please remember to credit the supplies in your gallery especially the DSS supplies
Of course I am hosting it so I will participate, to inspire bravery in all of you.
Put your layout in the gallery and a link in this thread and do your best. You could be published in our challenges or gallery walk newsletters. Your goal (if you accept this mission) is the completion and posting in the gallery with a listing and link here, and on completion collection of a voucher for $5.00 for my store. Good Luck

The free mini kit for this month's challenge is called Fresh.As before use all the items in the mini kit to make your layout. Be innovative, you don't have to use them at the size they are saved at. You may duplicate cut chop bend and generally make use of your kit in any way on this layout. If you choose to make a style or a pattern from any part let us know in the layout in the gallery and here in your thread. Use at least one photo, don't use anything from another kit. New Look DigiScrapStation .Work in progress......
Well DigiScrapStation is taking on a new look, We are having more categories for other kinds of digital design and including such things as mixed media sheets, collage, cardmaking, and cutout and dress up dolls. Lots of printables are now available and many many more coming up soon. the forum is a recharged place now. Lots of challenges going on here.
I have the honor of hosting Use It All. You may apply for the minikit, and then post a layout(all instructions are there), its just one of the fun challenges for this month. Design member Joddi has come up with this terfiffic layout so far

Sue Wood Designs has been uploading lots of CU4CU kits. Many of them are suitable for card makers as well as scrap book kit makers. I decided to go along this line as there is a very fine line between making commercial use and allowing those to be used as part of another commercial use product without having to be specific in terms of use depending on whose products I may have used. Rest assured that the products I may have used have a cu4cu license or I have sourced public domain or contacted the artist for these permissions. Many are my own designs, graphics or photographs. I did not want to go along the way of charging an 'extra' fee for a license to use my cu4cu products as that would be misdirection when they are advertised as cu4cu.
